Paula developed an educational program in 1984, The Past is Prologue, which was recognized by the United States Department of Education as "exemplary." Demand for teacher training grew and Paula developed a series of four weekend workshops. This program was also adopted by corporations, including 3M, Herman Miller and Xerox. Paula presented many of the ideas on this tape at conferences including Systems Thinking in Action (1998-2000), The Summit on Leading Diversity (2000) and the annual conferences of The Clinical Practice Model, The American Association of Critical Practice Model, The American Association of Critical Care Nurses and The Council of Logistics Management.
